The 9 Days Uganda Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Wildlife adventurous safari combines different areas to visit. We have the Murchison Falls National Park which is the pearl of Africa and the largest and oldest in Uganda, the Kibale forest national Park which is the world’s primate wonder, Bwindi Impenetrable national Park which is home to the biggest population of remaining mountain gorillas in the Wild and the last one will be Lake Bunyoni. The trip starts and ends in Kampala Uganda.

Tour Plan

On this 1st day, start your day with a pick up from your hotel in Kampala  and be taken direct to Murchison Falls National Park. You will enjoy a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will trek the endangers species of the white Rhinos in their natural habitats depending on the time. Afterwards, you will get into Masindi Town where you will have a stopover for lunch then head tp the park for an evening game drive. Later in the evening you will proceed to your lodge for a relaxed dinner and an overnight sleep.

Accommodations: Para Safari Lodge for the Luxury, Pakuba Safari Lodge for mid-range and the Heritage Safari Lodge for those on budget.

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

Meet your driver after your breakfast for a half a day game drive along the River Nile shores where you will sport as many wildlife as possible since it is the biggest Savannah park in Uganda. Look out for Hartebeests, elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda knob, and giraffes and many other thrilling mammals in the Savannah part of the park. Return to your lodge for lunch after the drive. Thereafter you will embark on the thrilling boat cruise at 2pm. The boa cruises upstream to the waterfall base and will reward you with a different view and sparkling water falls. Go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

On day 3 you will check out of the lodge and prepare for a full day drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to 13 primates which comprises of Red tail monkeys, Blue monkeys, chimpanzees, Vervet monkeys, Black and White Colobus and many more. You will take lunch along the way while dinner at your various lodges where you will arrive at later that day.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner

Park some snacks, drinking water, and grab your backpack after breakfast and take a drive to Kanyanchu where the park Headquarters are found. You will meet the rangers who will take through a session briefing before penetrating the forest to look for the habituated troops of chimpanzees which are thrilling in the forest. There will an enormous encounter with other various wildlife species that thrill in the forest. Later on you will exit the forest and be driven to your various lodges for a relaxed lunch. The guide will then drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch, a 2-3 hours’ drive to the rift valley escarpments. Proceed to check in to your lodge after arrival and take dinner and have an overnight rest.

There will be an early morning lion tracking experience after breakfast since this is the best way to get closer to the King of the Jungle in the Park. Lion tracking was introduced since most travelers did not meet the lions during the game drive. After the lion tacking, you will enjoy the game drive to spot other mammals in the Kasenyi plains. Return for lunch in the lodge and then eenjoy an afternoon boat cruise in Kazinga channel. Look out for huge schools of crocodiles, hippos and several others during the boat cruise. The guide will return you to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner.

Pack your lunch after your breakfast on the 6th day and check out of the lodge. Prepare for a drive to Ishasha sector to spot tree climbing lions and other mammals which live in the sector. After the drive, enjoy a picnic lunch and exit Queen Elizabeth National Park for Bwindi impenetrable National Park. You will arrive later in the evening and check in to your lodge. Take your dinner and have an overnight rest.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Wake up early for your breakfast then pack some snacks, drinking water and meet your guide to transfer to the trail head to attend a gorilla trekking briefing. This will be before starting the real adventure of trekking the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. The Bwindi Gorilla trekking activity will take between 2-8 hours depending on the Gorilla’s movement and trekker speed. After getting the gorillas, you will spend only an hour with them taking photographs and closely watching them. Yu will then exit the forest back to your lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep

On the 8th day, checkout of your lodge and prepare for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you will arrive by lunch time. Here you will enjoy a thrilling afternoon canoe riding as you explore different islands because the lake is home to 29 islands and various little birds. You will have the opportunity to learn about each island’s name origin with the local guide’s help for dinner. You will return to the lodge after the canoe ride and an overnight rest.

Meal Time: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

On this last day, you will check out from your lodge and begin the drive to Kampla with a stopover at Masindi Town for lunch and another one at the equator. You will take some photos for purposes of memories. You will then enjoy a brief city tour when you arrive in Kampala before heading to Entebbe international airport for those catching flights.
