Tour Plan
After being picked up at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be transferred to the local hub of Wilson Airport. From here, you fly to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve, a popular destination for safari goers. Kichwa Tembo is located in a private concession, so guests can take advantage of activities like spot-lit night drives and private game viewing that aren't allowed in the main reserve, all while taking in breathtaking vistas of the savannah. You may also see the Masai Mara from above by taking a hot air balloon ride.
Spend your two days here exploring a game-rich environment by 4X4 and on foot if you so choose; this is the ideal way to learn about the area's finer points from your knowledgeable guide. Kichwa Tembo's location on the seasonal Migration road makes it a prime destination from August to November, when the large wildebeest herds pass through. One of the most exciting parts of the safari is seeing the wildebeest cross rivers where massive crocodiles lurk. Because of the high concentration of animals in this area, tourists may go on exciting game drives at any time of year.
From Kichwa Tembo, you can get a flight to Ukunda Airport, located south of Mombasa on the coast of the Indian Ocean. After the excitement and early morning beginnings of your Masai Mara safari, you will be greeted and transferred to Waterlovers Beach Retreat to relax. All the comforts of home are provided at this family-owned and -operated resort on the pristine sands of Diani Beach, a popular tourist destination in Kenya. There is an on-site spa where guests may get massages, facials, body treatments, and even reflexology. Take pleasure in the kid-friendly vibe and fun details like whale-shaped seats.
A popular beginner coral reef, an 18-hole golf course, and bicycles are all available for your use throughout your stay. Creative cuisine, such as roasted pumpkin ravioli in crab and fish ragout and passion fruit mousse with white chocolate flakes, may be eaten with the sand between your toes at this restaurant, where the menu varies everyday.
Since the tour will culminate with a night in Nairobi, nothing will be rushed. Relax on the flight from Diani to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, and then take a transport to Ololo Safari Lodge, one of the city's most unique hotels. Ololo is located on the outskirts of the city of Nairobi, which is home to many large animals such as lions, giraffes, and buffalo, and the only big game reserve in the immediate vicinity of a major metropolitan area. In Nairobi, you can visit interesting places like the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, and Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage, or you can do some last-minute shopping (at stores like Matbronze, Kitingela, Kazuri, and Ocean Sole, you can find sculptures and jewelry made from recycled materials like glass and beads). You could also choose to relax by relaxing and watching the local wildlife pass by your camp
Breakfast at Ololo Safari Lodge, then journey to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
