Upon your arrival in Arusha, you will have a safari orientation before being transferred to Tarangire National Park. You will be able to take in the scenery and keep an eye on the wildlife while seated in the safari vehicle with its roof open. You will depart the park somewhere in the late afternoon and make your way to the Lake Burunge Tented Camp, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, you will leave the Tarangire region and make your way to the Lake Manyara National Park. The park is well-known for having more than 400 different bird species, forests full of primates, and grassy plains. A significant portion of the park is taken up by the alkaline Lake Manyara, which serves as the seasonal breeding ground for numerous large colonies of flamingos. Following a long and exciting game drive, you will make your way to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, where you will spend the night.

The entire day is spent in the Serengeti National Park going on safari to look for animals. Your itinerary for this trip will be determined by the locations of the herds as they travel. Lions, leopards (which hide in the acacia trees), and cheetahs are just some of the predators that are likely to follow the trekking animals closely behind them. Your guide will be aware of the locations of the animals as well as the optimal vantage points from which to observe them. Tented camp accommodations are provided by Kati Kati.

In the early afternoon of this day, you will make your way out of the Serengeti National Park and continue on your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As soon as you reach the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will have a breathtaking view of the massive caldera that lies below you. Continue on your journey until you reach the bustling town of Karatu. Spend the night in the Ngorongoro Farm House.

You will have time for breakfast when the sun rises, and then you will travel back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before beginning your descent into the crater. Following a lengthy game drive and a picnic lunch, you will depart the caldera in the afternoon and make your way back to the Ngorongoro Farm House, where you will spend the night.

You are going to have a leisurely breakfast, and then you are going to travel back to Arusha, where you will arrive around lunchtime. Depending on the time of your flight, you will be delivered either to the heart of the city or directly to the terminal.
