Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha National Park
The tour guide picks up the visitors from Moshi town at 8.00a.m and drives them to Arusha National Park. The first-day tour involves familiarizing ourselves with the park. The game ranger then guides visitors through the rainforest to view the waterfall with spot black and pure white colobus monkeys. The afternoon involves viewing Momella lakes and the Ngurduto crater, where you will likely spot a buffalo, warthog, gazelle, waterbuck, giraffe, and bird species. Finally, lucky tourists can see a shy elephant and leopard. At 6.00a.m, tourists are driven back to Moshi town for accommodation.
Day 2: Enjoying the Flora and Fauna of the park
The second-day tour starts at 8.00 a.m. Upon arrival at the park, the tour guide will pick you after checking in and guides you through the rain forest. The tour begins with the excitement of the fauna and flora while riding on a boat cruise. The sparkling waterfall has white and spot-black colobus monkeys busy with their day. On this day, you take more than five hours enjoying the grazing giraffes and Sykes’ monkey having bright orange eyes.
Tourists take photos of hippos, bushbucks, Leopards, giraffes, monkeys, hyenas, and leopards, among other wildlife.
Day 3: Watching flamingos, Viewing Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mt. Meru
The third day starts at 8.00 a.m. It involves walking more profoundly in the park, which increases the chances of seeing birds closely together with an armed soldier. The game drives and the walking safaris will help you to watch flamingos at Momella lakes. It is home to Mount Meru, which has the most significant numbers of giraffes, lush rainforest, alpine vegetation, dush bucks, zebras, hippos, warthogs, and the white colobus monkeys.
Day 4: Game drive
The fourth day starts at 8.00 a.m. Visitors in the park will view bull buffalos, waterbucks, hadada, and the sacred ibis. A break of one hour is given for the launch at the Hatari lodge. The tour will take the whole day as you will require taking photos of the animals sleeping, flamingos flying, and while feeding. Viewing their feeding patterns and nests for the birds will also be essential.
Day 5: Bird Watching
The fifth day starts at 8.00a.m, after arrival at the park. It involves watching more than 400 bird species, as recorded in the park. The birds include hornbills, flamingos, pelicans, vultures, and snake eagles. In addition, there will be an exciting excursion of Mount Meru, Momela Lakes, and the Ngurdoto Crater, which is 3 km wide.
Day 6. Game Drive and Canoeing on Momela Lake
The sixth and last day will start with a game drive, followed by a canoeing safari at Momela Lake, which offers a varied view of the wildlife and helps to view Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. The evening, 1700hrs, allows visitors to return to Arusha National Park for accommodation or return to the airport.
