Your safari trip officially starts today! We will arrange for a pick-up at your Arusha area hotel. The trip takes about 2.5 hours, and along the way you'll pass stunning scenery and interesting small towns. We'll spend the day on an exciting safari in Tarangire, a region renowned for its abundance of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. We'll head to Africa Safari Lake Manyara at the end of the day, where you can rest easy in a fully-furnished, private bathroom safari tent. To begin, you can go for a swim in the pool.
On day three, after a day of travel, we'll finally reach the Serengeti entrance. We'll be going on a game drive through this stunning park after lunch. About 1.5 million herbivores and their followers migrate across the endless plains of the Serengeti, which are characterized by savannah and forest landscapes. Our day concludes as we check into Africa Safari Ikoma. It is in an ideal location for exploring the Serengeti, being in the middle of the Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Game Reserves.
The following morning, we'll go on a safari in the Ikona Wildlife Management Area. After a sundowner, we'll go on a walking safari through the area with a ranger in the afternoon. This is one of a kind! Africa Safari Ikoma is your chosen lodging for a second night.
On day four of our Africa safari, we spend another day in Serengeti before making the drive to Ndutu/South Serengeti for the night. The calving season of the Great Migration is the area's biggest draw
We have an early start to the day, and then after breakfast, we'll hit the road for the incredible Ngorongoro crater. Ngorongoro is the largest and most complete crater on Earth. There were probably 30,000 large mammals in the crater. The Big Five (African black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, and zebra), as well as hyena, zebra, and elephants, can all be found within the conservation area thanks to its naturally protected borders. We spend another night at Africa Safari Lake Manyara, which we reach in the afternoon.
Our destination for today is Lake Manyara. Famous for its breathtaking vistas, waterfalls, babbling brooks, and hot springs, this park is a popular tourist destination. All day long, we take you on a game drive around Lake Manyara, and if you're the walking type, you can also schedule a 2-hour walking safari. You can get a good look at giraffes, buffalo, and other animals while walking around. We leave for Arusha in the afternoon and return before dinner.
