Overview
Budongo forest is a moist semi-deciduous tropical rainforest found at the top of Albertine, Uganda, on the southern side of Murchison Falls National Park. It has an amazing number of splint species. The easier noticeable are the giant. Mahogany trees which are up to 60m tall. Other beautiful trees include spiky fagar trees, parasitic strangler figs, and ironwood trees. Budongo forest is famous for its huge population of chimpanzees.

After you arrive at Entebbe Airport, the tour guide from Star Mount Safaris will meet, greet and transfer you and take you to the imperial resort hotel in Entebbe, where you will be spending the night.

Meal Plans: Breakfast
After breakfast, you will head to Budongo forest for chimpanzee tracking/trekking. Wear your light shoes and long trousers and shirts. You will be taken on a guided walk while searching for the habituated chimpanzee family. Carry your binoculars and look for some birds since the forest is a critical birding place for the Uganda birding safaris. After the track, you will check into your new lodge in the Budongo Forest.

After breakfast, there will be a guided nature walk at Buingiro Eco and Kaniyo Padidi sites through an excellent trail network that offers plenty of things. They include different trees and shrubs, unique wildlife such as monkeys, Cicada, animals, and birds, and a chance to see chimpanzees.
Time: 4 hours
After breakfast, you will be guided by the tour guides to the Koniyo Padidi, where there will be birding since Budongo forest is a prime destination for birding in Uganda. The birding experience is meant to provide you with a beautiful view of the different bird species since the forest has over 360 species of birds.
Time: 3 hours
Today wake up at leisure and enjoy your breakfasts. You can do a game drive if you prefer. Otherwise, you have a day to rest around the beautiful lodge.

You wake up at leisure and enjoy your breakfast. Afterward, you will head out to Kampala and continue to Entebbe International Airport in time for your Check for your departure flight meant for home.
