Overview

The Volcanoes National Park (Parc Nationals de Volcans (PNV) is the smallest in Rwanda, habiting the World’s final remaining mountain gorillas. Five days safari package at Volcanoes National Park will let you witness nature with ease. The National park is about a 2-3-hour drive from Kigali. Kigali is Rwanda’s Capital City. The captivating space shields five of the nine staggeringly stunning Virunga Mountains, separately distinguished by steep slopes covered in a thick green tropical rainforest. The park is habituated to about half the earth’s left population of critically in danger of extinction, mountain gorillas. Please take a look into this; what causes this park to be distinctive? It hosts seven species of habituated World’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Tour Plan

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be received by our tour agent outside the airport arrivals department and moved to your resort.

Take breakfast at the resort. Visit the ancient Kigali, art centers, and genocide monument sites. Discover Rwanda's chronology from pre-colonial periods to the 1994 genocide, other genocides, and how this Rwanda has negotiated with that history. Travel further and witness Rwanda's new expansions. Take lunch in Kigali and then proceed to Kigali towards Ruhengeri, a site for Gorilla strolling at the Parc National des Volcans, roughly 25km from the Uganda boundary, about a two and half hour's drive from Kigali to the Volcanoes National park.

At around 6 am, breakfast at the resort early, then leave with your attendant to the National Park camp for a short briefing from your assigned "Golden Monkey guide" from the Volcanoes National Park management. Following the tiring and very adventurous tour, return to your lodge for lunch while catching up in the afternoon at relaxation or visit the Ib'iwacu cultural village upon preference.

After an early breakfast, head to the park for a simple registration process with the park team while discussing your wellness level, recommending the hiking periods and requirements, and grouping the visitors by assigning a tour guide. Upon spotting the gorillas, you will be permitted to relax, take pictures, and stay with them for a mystical hour as they proceed about their everyday life, feeding, recreating, relaxing, and bringing up their young ones. Rest assured that encountering a giant silverback would be one of the earth's most incredible wildlife adventures! Then return for lunch and plan an afternoon stop to the breathtaking and panoramic Twin Lakes – Bulera and Ruhondo.

After breakfast, depart from the foothills of the volcanoes and drive on a panoramic drive to Kigali. All around is mere green and dangling on the hills; Rwanda is indeed the land of numerous productive green peaks. Then, finally, move to the airport for your flight.
