Overview
The five-day chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari takes you to Kibale Forest National Park, which contains the most primates and the greatest variety of them in East Africa. It is the best safari site in Africa for chimpanzee trekking and the habituation experience. The journey will also take you to Lake Bunyonyi, which is also known as the home of many little birds, and Queen Elizabeth national park, which is well-known for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha plains.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your accommodation and taken to Kibale National Park by your guide. The park is situated in Uganda's western region. By noon, arrive in Fort Portal town and eat lunch at the garden's hotel. Continue parking, show up in the afternoon, and then go for a short stroll through the marshes. Later, you take your dinner and have an overnight rest at your lodge.
After breakfast, the guide will pick you up at 7.30 and transfer you to the park headquarters and brief you before. You will be set into the forest to trek the chimpanzees and take pictures and videos as you observe how they live and interact. Later, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park. At noon, take your lunch and embark on the evening game drive and continue trekking the chimpanzees on the evening game drive. Later in the evening, you will retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight resting.
For morning game drives around the Kasenyi Plains, where you expect to see buffalo, lions, elephants, and warthogs, the guide will pick you up. In the afternoon, there will be a boat cruise which you will enjoy at the Kazinga Channel. You will have the opportunity to view crocodiles, hippos, and elephants along the river banks. Later in the evening, the tour guide will take you back to your lodge to take dinner and rest until the next day.
After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up at 7.30 am and drive you to Lake Bunyonyi. Some of the islands will be visited by a canoe rider. The second-deepest lake in Africa is Lake Bunyonyi. You will have the opportunity to connect with local islanders and learn about their way of life. The guide will return you to your lodging later so you may unwind while seeing the stunning birds and the sunset along the coastlines. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your resort.
On the fifth day, after breakfast, your guide will drive you back to Kampala and transfer some of you to Entebbe Airport for those who need to catch their flights back home.
