A park ranger will then lead you into the forest while carrying your tracking equipment, water supply, and food. To find the chimpanzees, this tracking takes between two and five hours. Following chimpanzee tracking, you will spend an hour observing the primates while researching their behavior and taking pictures. You will then go to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Breakfast in the morning, then go to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes 8 to 9 hours, including a lunch break along the way, and it passes through Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where there is a chance to see lions that climb trees. Go to Bwindi and arrive there in the afternoon. Take dinner and have an overnight stay.

Once you have located the creatures, you will be permitted to spend an hour with the friendly primates before returning to your resort to rest and refuel. An optional community tour of Bwindi will be offered. As stated above, you will have dinner and spend the night.

You will leave for your trip back to Kampala after breakfast, stopping in Mbarara for lunch along the way and making one more stop in Masaka to mark the equator.
