Murchison Falls National Park lies on the Albertine Rift Valley’s Northern end. It is the oldest and largest conservation area in Uganda and is bisected by Victoria Nile. It hosts more than 451 birds and 76 species of mammals. On your safari tour to this park, you can view the mighty Murchison Falls, where the park derives its name.

Tour Plan

You arrive at the airport, where the tour guide from Star Mount Safaris will meet, greet, transfer, and take you to the imperial Resort Hotel in Entebbe, where you will be spending the night. The first activity will be the game drive and boat cruise on the river Nile. Hence after settling in the rooms, in the afternoon, there will be the famed boat Safari on River Nile from where one shall watch different animals along the shore and continue to about ten meters from the Murchison’s falls bottom, also referred to as  “Devils cauldron.”  The 2 hours boat drive will be a great way of spending the first afternoon and enjoying the Victoria Nile and the various.

The driver will pick you up in the morning and take you to the northern Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The Rhino sanctuary works to reintroduce black and white rhinos into Uganda. They manage a breeding program and inform locals about these extinct giants, the issue of poaching, and the importance of environmental preservation. Going on a safari hike, you can get a close-up view of the rhinos at the Rhino Sanctuary

After seeing the rhinos, you will eat lunch at Kabalega Dinner, 3 km from the reserve (lunch cost not inclusive). You will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park after lunch. You'll pass by many baboons when you enter the park from the northern gate on your route to the resort. It should take 8 hours to complete the trek.

You wake up at leisure and enjoy breakfast. We drive to the top of Murchison Falls, and the wide Nile is forced into a 7-meter gap to a thunderous tour. There is a beautiful rainbow that is formed and makes contrasts with the crashing water. Afterward, you will head out to Kampala and continue to Entebbe International Airport to check in for your departure flight heading home.
