- 3 Days Masai Mara Game Reserve Tour/Safari
Overview
It would be utterly a mistake to miss a chance to visit Masai Mara. Known for its wide spanning savannah grassland, this is perhaps one of the best places you will ever visit. The reserve is located south west of Kenya. To the south, its boarders the great Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Its large enough covering an area of 1510 square kilometres. It borders Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) to the south. The park is a home of almost all the dry land wild life, coupled with few marine wildlife such as crocodiles and hippos in the Mara River. One great events which happens in this park is the wildebeest migration, where in their millions, they move from the Serengeti to Masai Mara and then back again between July and October. All the big cats are evident at the park, with sights over other big grazers such as buffalos, giraffes, rhinos, and elephants among others been easily sighted.

Tour Plan
Due to the long journey that will be ahead of you, we usually plan the day’s activities to start a bit early. The journey to the park is estimated at 5 hours, and you will travel 270km to the destination. Therefore, we will do an early pick up from the airport or your residence hotel by latest 7:00 AM. You may perhaps have a few stop overs here, and especially in a few of the curio shops that are along the road, so that you can pick for yourself any interest items that you find around as a souvenir of your travel. A must stop however is at the escarpment view point, so that you see the great wonderful Rift Valley escarpment scenery. The estimated arrival time at your residence lodge (Keekorok Lodge, or any other as per your itinerary), will be around noon. You will proceed to have lunch, after which you have an afternoon game driver in the park. We anticipate that you’ll have the chance to see several animals. In the evening you will get back to your residence for dinner, and then an overnight stay in the same place.
You will begin the second day by having an early morning game drive. This would enable you to see some of the shy animals that often do the rounds during the dawn. You will get back for your breakfast, after which you embark for a full day extensive game excursion. Notice that you will have packed lunch for the day. This will be a critical day because we anticipate to cover a wide area of the park, so that you can see as much wildlife as possible. You will retire back to your park residence, have dinner and spent the night at the same venue.
By now, we will have summed up our much-needed excursion of the park. You will have your breakfast, usually early in the morning at the camp. You will check out from the camp, and the park, the proceed for your much needed 5-hour journey back to Nairobi. You will have lunch at Nairobi (from a hotel as per your itinerary) and later drop you at the airport, or your residence.

We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.
This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!
It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
