The Masai Mara Game Reserve, widely known for its amazing wildebeest migration scenario is perhaps one of the best places to visit and indeed a must visit when touring Kenya. Big and expansive as it is (1510km2), the reserve is located south west of Kenya. To the South, its boarders the great Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Actually, the two parks are an extension of one another. Itโs scenic for its wide foray African savannah plain, with millions of floras creating an interesting appeal any time of the year. It is known for its rich haven of wildlife, and perhaps houses almost all kinds of wildlife that are available in a terrestrial savannah environment. Grazing on its plains are millions of zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, gazelles among others. Of the big wildlife, you would amazingly spot elephants, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs, lions, and giraffes among others.
One amazing event, which has been described as the โseventh wonder of the wordโ is the famous wildebeest migration, when in their millions, wildebeest cross over the Mara River from the Serengeti National Park (Tanzania), and stretch wild to the extensive savannah plains between July and October. An experience in such a period would be a great one in your life.

Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi-Destination Masai Mara Game Reserve
At a distance of 270km from Nairobi, your 5-hour journey would mean an early pick up from the airport or your residence hotel by latest 7:00 AM. Your journey will then snail and meander through the view-point escarpments, pass through Narok town (which is the home town of the game reserve) and finally reach the main entrance (the Sekenani Gate) probably by mid-day or there about. Youโll check in at the Keekorok Lodge (or any other lodge/camp as shall be advised by your itinerary), and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will have an exciting game drive across the plains where you will try to spot as many wildlife as possible. Later in the evening, youโll return back to your camp, have dinner and spent your overnight there. You will probably be tired, and so you will need to relax for the next dayโs activities.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
You will have a very early breakfast and then proceed for morning game drive that should probably end by noon. We anticipate that during this drive, you will able to see crocodiles and hippos of the Mara River, wildebeest, zebras, lions, elephants and giraffes among others. Our tour driver will try to make the drive as amazing as possible, and bring you close to the animals for your viewing/photo shoots. You will go back to the camp, and have lunch before you embark on your journey back to Nairobi, where we will drop you off at the airport, or resident hotel by later in the evening. We wish you a nice tour ahead of you. Enjoy!

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!
We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.
