Tour Plan
Your 10 day Seychelles and luxury Kenya safari begins in Nairobi. When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative from Ker & Downey® Africa will meet you there and drive you to Nairobi Wilson Airport, where you'll board a chartered flight to Chuyulu Airstrip. Ol Donyo Lodge is a modern safari lodge located between Tsavo East National Park and Amboseli National Park in Kenya, and a lodge representative will meet you at the airport and take you there. Your Deluxe Pool Suite has a private plunge pool and a roof terrace, perfect for stargazing and starbed slumber parties. Dinner at the main lodge will be followed by the first wildlife drive of your luxury safari in Kenya. After a wonderful dinner, retire to your suite for a restful night before venturing out to experience more of Kenya the following day.
You'll need to get up bright and early today for your first morning safari drive. Predators love to hunt in the cool of the morning, thus this time of day is ideal for wildlife viewing. After about three hours of exploring the private 275,000-acre reserve, you and your guide will stop for a delicious bush breakfast in a picturesque setting on the reserve. Get ready in your accommodation at the Ol Donyo Lodge and take it easy for a while. Day trips to the local Maasai hamlet might include conservation and community service projects as well as outdoor pursuits like hiking and horseback riding. In addition, you can relax with a massage in the comfort of your accommodation or read a book on your private terrace.
After having lunch at the lodge, you will go on your second game drive of the day. Have dinner in the comfort of your suite tonight and cap off your time at Ol Donyo Lodge with a night under the stars on your private rooftop terrace.
You may enjoy breakfast at the main lodge while gazing at Mount Kilimanjaro. You will be leaving for the Maasai Mara today, the next stop on your luxurious Kenya safari. In order to catch your charter flight to Olare Orok Airstrip, your safari guide will take you to Chyulu Airstrip. You will be met at the airport by a Mahali Mzuri representative who will take you to your lodgings for the next two nights. Sir Richard Branson's premium safari resort features 12 individually designed tent apartments. This tented camp on the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy within the greater Maasai Mara ecosystem puts you in prime position to witness Kenya's greatest wildlife spectacle, the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Relax in your tent, take in the scenery from your private deck, and get ready for your first Maasai Mara game drive. Your expert Field Guide will expose you to the fascinating local fauna, which includes a pride of resident lions. Have a drink at the overlook before heading back to the cabin
The first day at Mahali Mazuri is at your leisure. After a hearty breakfast of homemade bread and a traditional English breakfast at the main lodge, the day is yours to plan as you like. In the morning, you can go on a game drive, or you can lounge by the 12-meter infinity pool and sip cocktails all day. Visiting the local Maasai village or school is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of the area. Here you may find out more about the local Maasai people, including more about their customs, culture, and way of life. After the morning's game drive, head back to camp for a relaxing nap or spa treatment before dinner and the evening's game drive.
A night game drive is the best way to see nocturnal animals like aardvarks and honey badgers, so after another delicious meal at the camp tonight, you should go on one. After the sun has set, head back to camp and retire to your plush suite for the night.
On day five of your trip, you will complete your luxurious Serengeti safari in Kenya and begin your beach vacation in the Seychelles. Say your goodbyes to the crew at Mahali Mazuri as you enjoy your final game drive before catching a charter jet to Wilson Airport from Olare Orok Airstrip. You will be met and transferred by car to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, from where you will catch your onward flight to OR Tambo International Airport in South Africa. At last, you'll be boarding the plane to Mahe. Your helicopter transfer to Felicite, a private island where you can stay at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, will be waiting for you when you arrive in Mahe. There are thirty lavish villas at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, a paradise resort nestled among granite boulders on the coral-fringed beaches of Félicité.
After a stroll down the beach as the sun sets, dine on a Seychelles-themed menu at the Six Senses Restaurant tonight. Get cozy in your villa and let the distant sound of the ocean lull you to sleep.
You are free to do whatever you like with the next several days. The choice to rise and shine or take it easy is entirely yours to make. You can eat all three meals (breakfast, lunch, and supper) in the lodge, or you can have it delivered to your villa. Ocean activities, land excursions, and general exploration of the Seychelles archipelago are the three best ways to spend your time there. Snorkeling outings in the Indian Ocean, paddleboarding adventures through the turquoise waters, and jungle hikes with the Island Conservation Manager will fill your mornings. Golfers, explorers, and beach bums can plan day trips to nearby Praslin and Aride Island with the help of the Six Senses team.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at the restaurant and a stroll along the beach before calling it a night on the final night of your 10 Day Seychelles + Luxury Kenya Safari.
Your beach and safari holiday comes to an end today. You will be flown to Mahe via helicopter in the morning, just in time for your flight to OR Tambo International Airport and your subsequent trip back home.
