Northern Tanzania is the ideal place to go on safari, and you'll get to discover and explore its national parks throughout this trip. You will travel to Tarangire, Manyara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. The safari price includes transportation to and from the airport as well as an overnight stay in Karatu. You'll be driven in style in a 4x4 WD jeep driven by one of our expert guides. Drinks, including mineral water, will be provided for free in the Jeep. You will also go on game drives in the mornings.
We are excited to share with you the detailed itenerary for this safari as below.
Itineraries
Day 1
Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
After meeting you at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our safari guide will drive you to your lodge for the night. In the event that there is spare time, your safari guide can take you on a tour of the local area. You can unwind at the lodge if you like.
Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast, we'll pack a picnic lunch and head to Tarangire National Park for a day of wildlife viewing. The park is well-known for its large elephant herds, massive baobab trees, and plenty of predators. Many interesting places await your discovery here. After that, we'll head to the lodge where you'll have dinner and spend the night.
Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
We will have a picnic lunch and go on a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast. The variety of life at Lake Manyara has made the national park famous. There are a variety of ecosystems in the park, from the lake and forest to the plains. Because of the subsurface springs, the lions avoid the ground and instead take to the trees. Primate species, avian species, and large mammals abound in the park.
We'll be leaving for the lodge shortly to check in for the night and have dinner.
Day 4-5
Serengeti National Park
We will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area immediately following breakfast. We'll continue on across the Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti gate, where our two days of wildlife drives will begin. More than 15,000 square kilometers of grassland make up Africa's most well-known park, Serengeti National Park. It is home to a wide variety of exotic creatures, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and many more.
We will return to camp for dinner and the night after our game drive.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
We will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area immediately following breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater will be our destination for a game drive and picnic lunch. When visiting Tanzania on safari, the Ngorongoro Crater is an absolute must due to the incredible concentration of wildlife found there. The Maasai and their livestock coexist with wild creatures in the protected Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
We will return to camp for dinner and the night after our game drive.
Day 7
Karatu
We will explore the nearby village after breakfast. If you have time, we may also unwind at the lodge or go shopping. Thereafter, we'll take a shuttle to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. In other words, you won't be late to check in at the airport and board your aircraft home or further.
