We are excited to share with you the detailed itenerary for this safari as below.
Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi, Free Time
Kenya's capital awaits! Before landing, window seat passengers may glimpse Nairobi National Park. The city's 73-square-mile (117 km) park's proximity is one of its many distinctive features. This large protected area is not a zoo but a happy, free-roaming animal sanctuary.
A private driver will take you from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to your hotel. Nairobi, Kenya's largest metropolis with over six million citizens, was founded in the late 19th century by British East African colonial authority as a Uganda Railway depot. The Maasai word Enkare Nairobi (cold water) refers to the city's Nairobi River.
Explore as you please the rest of the day. Rest or tour the city's produce and flea markets after the trip. Eat at a Kenyan restaurant to end the day.
Day 2
Nairobi National Park, Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center
Today's full-day capital adventure brings you close to Kenya's best wildlife. You're picked up early to avoid traffic to Nairobi National Park's main gate. Breakfast at a picnic location before entering the park. Wild creatures' unpredictability prevents exiting the car. Lions, buffaloes, zebras, rhinoceros, giraffes, gazelles, ostriches, and more can be seen from your car on a lucky day.
Around midday, you'll visit the Elephant Orphanage, which rescues orphaned elephants from poachers. Elephants return to the jungle when mature. The Giraffe Center protects the Rothschild's giraffe. Learn about the center's conservation efforts while feeding these adorable creatures. If time permits, walk the Gogo River Bird Sanctuary's route.
Return to your hotel late afternoon.
Day 3
Coffee Plantation Tour, Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast in Nairobi, you'll be driven 45 minutes to a world-class coffee region. Fairview Estate, a gorgeous 100-acre coffee farm, is your destination.
The Riara River, fed by Kenyan highland streams, irrigates Fairview Estate, which is 5,741 feet (1,750 m) above sea level. Fairview Estate's fertile lands have produced high-quality coffee since the early 1900s using holistic production practices that address customers' environmental concerns. The two-hour guided tour will explain you how the estate grows and processes coffee. You'll also try some of the estate's famous products. You can buy fresh coffee to take home.
After the tour, drive to Kenya's central highlands and lodge near Lake Naivasha (54 miles/88 kilometers). The rest of the day is yours to explore Naivasha's freshwater lake, birds, rhinos, and non-predatory wildlife island.
Return to your hotel late afternoon.
Day 4
Elsamere Conservation Center and Hell's Gate National Park
You'll visit Elsamere, a center honoring George and Joy Adamson's lifelong dedication to Kenya's wildlife, this morning.
The pair is famous for raising and releasing an orphaned lioness. Born Free, a 1966 film about Elsa, was based on her book. Elsamere, the couple's residence, is now a conservation and field study center and museum for study groups and tourists. This tour is your chance to learn about the Adamsons and their animal reintroduction program.
After lunch at Elsamere, you'll visit Hell's Gate National Park, noted for its scenery and wildlife. The park's Maasai Culture Center teaches about Kenya's Maasai tribe.
Return to your Naivasha hotel for the night.
Day 5
Boat Tour, Transfer to Nairobi and Depart Kenya
A one-hour boat excursion of Lake Naivasha, one of the Kenyan Rift Valley's freshwater lakes, follows breakfast. Birdwatchers love the region for its variety. Hippos are also likely to be seen as they swim repeatedly.
Then, goodbye Kenya! After the trip, proceed to Nairobi (65 miles/104 kilometers) to visit the Nairobi National Museum, which has a wealth of African history (time permitting). Transfer to the airport for your flight at the appointed time. Safe travels!
